Unfortunately, this ideology has been successfully rooted in an education controlled by left-wing activists for so long that it will take relentless work to undo the damage that’s been done, reverse course, and get back to sanity.

A glaring example of this continued madness is the case of Marissa Rothenberger, a male athlete dominating a girls’ baseball league in Minnesota.

At a recent game in which the male player took the pitcher’s mound, commentators demonstrated their dedication to the farce. Though they noted Rothenberger’s physical advantages — long arms, an impressive wingspan, and superior strength — they left unmentioned that these attributes stem directly from his male biology. The refusal to acknowledge the obvious was astounding. These traits are not remarkable compared to other male athletes, but they give Rothenberger an undeniable edge when placed in the middle of an all-girls league.

Meanwhile, female athletes, who dedicate countless hours to training and sacrifice sleep and social lives to pursue their passion, are left demoralized, as their hard work is overshadowed by a biological disparity that should never have been ignored.

In California, another incident at a track event further illustrates this problem. A male athlete dominated the female competition, prompting audible frustration from the crowd, with some shouting, “That’s a man!” Shockingly, prior to the event, the athlete’s mother took to social media to defend her son. Yet her attempts to sound encouraging to the team for “embracing” her son as one of their own came across as veiled threats to any female who dared to oppose him competing against them. She mentioned the consequences of what might happen if these girls wore shirts advocating for women’s rights or biological reality and warned them against protesting by sitting out or taking a knee. Her words dripped with narcissism and disdain for anyone who would dare to point out the truth or disagree with her son’s perception that he is as much a young woman as any of his teammates.

While we’re being sold these antics as being “inclusive,” it might just be a case of another woke liberal exploiting her son’s participation in women’s sports because he would likely struggle against male competitors. This situation highlights a broader trend in progressive states, where policies allowing men to compete in women’s sports are often justified under the guise of inclusivity, even at the expense of female athletes’ opportunities.

As the fight against this nonsense continues, hearing the concerns and experiences of the female athletes is crucial in understanding the depth of this issue.

In March 2025, a female fencing athlete, Stephanie Turner, made headlines when she refused to compete against a male opponent, taking a knee in protest. “As a woman, I don’t have a choice. Turner described a chilling environment where women are bullied into silence, afraid of repercussions if they challenge the status quo. Her testimony aligns with sentiments expressed in a United Nations report that revealed female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals to transgender rivals in women’s sports, a statistic that proves the massive problem this has become.

As neuroscientist Dr. Deborah Soh argued in her book The End of Gender, the heart of this controversy is a rejection of scientific reality. Soh, whose career shifted as she witnessed ideology overtaking science in her field, critiques the foundational theories behind gender identity policies. Furthermore, early 20th-century researchers like Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld and Dr. John Money, whose ideas she describes as “sick and twisted,” prove that these destructive theories are based on mad science, and the purpose is to destabilize society.
