  • Seizing Gaza: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has had enough of Hamas and is now seeking an Israeli occupation of Gaza. Of the 251 hostages taken on October 7, 2023, 50 remain unrecovered, with only 20 of that group believed to still be alive. Hamas, the UN, and the Leftmedia all report starvation as aid is dispensed in Gaza, but so far, the only confirmed images of starvation came from the video Hamas released of hostage Evyatar David digging his own grave while a well-fed Hamas fighter films it. UN reports of hundreds of IDF-attributed murders at aid sites are disputed or denied by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. UN groups have fallen out of favor with Israel since UNRWA members helped conduct the October 7 attack. The Israeli Cabinet will vote Tuesday on expanding operations in Gaza per Netanyahu’s request.

  • Mamdani’s NYC will have “free” gender mutilation for all: New York City mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani, a Marxist, has proclaimed his intent to provide $65 million in funding for “gender-affirming care.” On the same note, video from the Socialism 2025 conference in Chicago has circulated of Daniel Goulden, a member of the NYC Democratic Socialists of America’s Steering Committee who claims to work closely with Mamdani, declaring that NYC’s new “gender-affirming care” will be provided to anyone in the country. Given leftist beliefs that “no one is illegal,” the gender mutilation will surely be extended to anyone who asks, American or not. Mamdani explains that the funding will come from taxing New York’s wealthiest citizens and companies. At this rate, Mamdani is looking to make Wall Street a ghost town a month into his term as mayor.

  • Trump’s IVF waffling: In August 2024, in the heat of the presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised government-mandated health coverage for in vitro fertilization (IVF). “We want to produce babies in this country, right?” Trump reasoned. Now, six months into his term in office, the Trump administration still has no plans to actualize that promise. Senior admin officials report that mandating coverage for IVF is still a “huge priority,” but it’s not on the table until Congress approves legislation for that purpose. Support from the Republican-controlled House and Senate is far from guaranteed. Conservatives know that IVF is dubiously pro-life as currently practiced, with many fertilized embryos being left frozen indefinitely or discarded. Roughly 63% of Republicans say they support IVF, but churches are less sure, with the Catholic Church banning it and the Southern Baptist Convention expressing alarm over current IVF practices.

  • No SNAP for soda: The Make America Healthy Again movement is making strides this week toward removing sugary drinks and candy from SNAP eligibility. The secretary of agriculture announced new waivers to ban these and other junk foods from purchase with food stamps in six more states, including Florida, Texas, and Colorado. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the Department of Health and Human Services is taking action to ban soda from food stamps fully, explaining that 10% of the $405 million a day spent on SNAP goes to sugary drinks, increasing to 13%-17% when including candy and unhealthy snacks. The Trump administration and the MAHA movement accurately assess that taxpayers should not be subsidizing unhealthy luxury foods. RFK also announced plans to publish new dietary guidelines of four to six pages, down from the 453 pages the Biden administration provided.

  • Acosta’s fake AI anti-gun interview: Joaquin Oliver was one of the kids killed in the 2018 Parkland High School shooting and would have turned 25 on Monday. His parents created an AI version of their son and first used it in 2024 to call for Congress to enact stricter gun control laws, having him send the message that “my body was destroyed by a weapon of war.” Former CNN host Jim Acosta decided it was a good idea to interview this AI-animated avatar of Oliver and hear his gun control “solutions.” Predictably, the AI’s answers were chock-full of left-wing, anti-gun jargon. Acosta was right about one thing: There is something “deeply, deeply wrong with this country,” but to point the finger at the tool is not the answer. The spiritual sickness of the one wielding the tool is what needs to be addressed.

  • Jack Smith probed: A formal investigation has been launched into political hack and former Special Counsel Jack Smith by the Office of Special Counsel, from which he resigned in January. The move was spearheaded by Senator Tom Cotton, who alleges that Smith’s actions in prosecuting Trump in 2024 were designed to interfere with Trump’s election campaign and materially aid the Biden and Harris campaigns. Cotton added, “It is very likely illegal campaign activity from a public office.” Smith’s cases against Trump both ended with a whimper after Trump secured legal victories, including the Supreme Court’s decision upholding his presidential immunity for the actions in question. If Smith is found liable under the Hatch Act, which bars federal employees from partisan actions, he could face fines and other penalties, though criminal charges are unlikely.

  • AOC’s spousal abuse: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez likes to shout, “No one is above the law,” except when that law applies to her. AOC is using our society’s mucked-up view of marriage to her advantage, using the word “spouse” for her partner, Riley Roberts, to secure free gifts, but not using it when it comes to the rules of financial transparency. The House Ethics Committee has rebuked AOC for simultaneously claiming that her partner of almost 10 years both is and isn’t her “spouse.” She and Roberts have never been legally married, though AOC has frequently cited him as her “spouse” in order to grant her partner several privileges typically afforded only to legally married spouses of lawmakers. Legal spouses, according to the ethics rules, must disclose their sources of income and financial holdings; therefore, Roberts is not required to do that since he is not considered a spouse.

  • Boeing strike: For the first time in almost three decades, 3,200 Boeing defense unit workers went on strike early Monday after they turned down a contract offer from the company. This is the latest in a series of aviation labor union strikes that have proved to be successful in garnering higher wages. Boeing had offered a 20% wage increase, a $5,000 ratification bonus, and other improvements, bringing the total increase to about 40%. The union’s representative stated that the St. Louis-based workers deserved “a contract that reflects their skill, dedication, and the critical role they play in our nation’s defense.” The workers assemble and maintain F-15 fighter jets and missile systems. Boeing VP Dan Gillian stated, “We are prepared for a strike and have fully implemented our contingency plan to ensure our non-striking workforce can continue supporting our customers.”

  • Jaguar CEO “retiring”: Jaguar sales plummeted 77% following last November’s disastrous woke ad that was ruthlessly and deservedly mocked. With not a single car in the ad and a complete misreading of the room, many foresaw a “Bud Light effect” in Jaguar’s future. As should be expected, Jaguar CEO Adrian Mardell has announced his pending retirement after three years as CEO and three decades total with the company. Branding expert Steve McKee correctly pointed out, “Commandeering a longstanding and respected brand to proffer visions of a woke, androgynous utopia anathema to its target audience is unfocused at best, counterproductive at worst.” The ad wasn’t the only bad move made under Mardell’s leadership; Jaguar planned to phase out its final gasoline model in most markets but lacked electric models to replace them, so the showrooms were practically empty. The fact remains: Go woke, go broke.
