Re: The ‘Jesus Is a Refugee’ Heresy
“One of the goals of Marx and communists is to destroy religion and the church, and they have wildly succeeded. There isn’t anything the commies haven’t infiltrated. People are accepting this as tolerance, not destruction.” —Minnesota
“Jesus was a refugee to escape a temporary danger. Three years later, they returned to their homes. Refugee status is temporary and never meant to be permanent. There are exceptions, such as when a volcano blows up your island.” —North Dakota
Re: Trump Sues BBC for $10 Billion
“I don’t know. So far, the lawsuits that he has won don’t seem to have had much effect on the mainstream media, who continue to lie their pants off and mislead the public on a daily basis. I see lies and misleading information on local television all the time. It’s so commonplace now that maybe no one really pays any attention and still accepts their stuff as truth without a second thought.” —Washington
Re: Violence — ‘Gun’ and Other
“Every single one of the recent violent episodes — mass shootings, stabbings, running cars into crowds — has a common denominator: the perpetrator almost always had a long history of mental illness. Ever since the closing of long-term psychiatric asylums, mentally ill persons have been allowed to wander aimlessly in the streets, inflicting horror and death upon innocent victims. Each state should have at least one long-term mental facility, and persons with numerous red flags should be placed in them.” —Pennsylvania
“Jack, surely you don’t expect people to take the blame for their actions. God confronted Adam, and he blamed the woman that God gave him, who in turn blamed the serpent.” —Louisiana
Re: The GOP’s ObamaCare Opportunity
“Most of what I had planned to comment has been covered by your post, except the absurdity of charging people for coverage they will never use, such as pregnancy for males and prostate for females. That’s such an obvious ‘gimme’ to the health insurance companies. Another is the sloppy policing of fraud. A good first step would be to show people what their procedures and drugs actually cost so they can judge whether they should be paying for that out of pocket instead of using insurance.” —Ontario, Canada
