U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in Europe this weekend, trying to gain support for Barack Obama’s desired misadventure in Syria. CBS News notes, “Over the next three days, Kerry will meet with European Union and Arab leaders in Lithuania, France and the United Kingdom.”

Once upon a time, Kerry took a trip to France to drum up support for his agenda. But back in 1971, he was a traitor to the U.S. meeting with the North Vietnamese in Paris. Neither trip actually serves U.S. interests. As the French say, “plus ça change…”
