Some 2013 Miss America pageant contestants CAN form complex sentences. And one of them can do a lot more than that!

Miss Kansas, Theresa Vail, is a member of the National Guard, and an expert with M-16s, an avid bowhunter, skydiver, boxer, mechanic and former motorcycle racer. And when it comes to the swimsuit competition, she will set a first – two tattoos, one of the military medical insignia, and the other, the “Serenity Prayer.”
