As Republicans mount a charge into the Senate bayonets on Capitol Hill over funding ObamaCare, Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer had this to say: “The entire history of shutdowns is the opposition is the one that takes the hit. On ObamaCare, the Republicans are winning. They’re winning everywhere. Even the labor unions are up in arms against ObamaCare. Why would you want to step in the way? It’s the oldest adage in politics, when the other guy is committing suicide, get out of room. They ought to let this sail through.”

As for Sen. Ted Cruz leading the charge, Krauthammer said, “Look, Cruz has obviously helped himself, unless he fails which, of course, he will, he will have hurt the Republican party.”
