Bill Clinton explained the con behind ObamaCare – only he meant it as a reason to support it.

“I think it’s important for you to tell the people why we’re doing all this outreach, because this [law] only works, for example, if young people show up.” That means, of course, that the young and healthy have to pay high prices for health insurance they don’t need so that the old and sick can have lower premiums. Clinton went on to explain as much: “We’ve got to have them in the pools, because otherwise all these projected low costs cannot be held if older people with preexisting conditions are disproportionately represented in any given state. You’ve got to have everybody lined up.”
