Like the majority of Americans duped into supporting DemoCare, many are now suffering from cognitive dissonance. Obama, after all, promised “affordable” (read: “free”) health insurance. The result, however, has been an increase in the cost of health premiums. San Francisco resident Cindy Vinson, a huge supporter of Obama’s chief legislative achievement, is one of those now feeling the effects and wondering what went wrong: “Of course, I want people to have health care,” she says. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”

Of course, people stupid enough to elect Barack Obama are stupid enough to believe Big Brother programs come for free.
