The U.S. Army is building Iron Man. Indeed, the military is developing “revolutionary” smart armor to supply troops with “superhuman strength.” The Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS) would serve as an exoskeleton filled with hydraulics, sensors and a computer to aid a soldier with tasks requiring strength, while keeping track of health and providing weapons. The Army hopes to have the gear in the field in three years.
