The goal of getting people on the red planet as technology becomes available reached a milestone this week: 202,586 individuals successfully signed up as volunteers. Meanwhile, just 36,000 people successfully enrolled in the Healthcare.gov exchange in its first week. The Mars colony also probably has better prospects.
