The IRS says it will delay processing tax returns and refunds for at least two weeks, and claims its the government slowdown. The agency says the partial shutdown came at a time when “the majority of the work” updating its systems occurs. We’re sure the real reason is that they need more time to hone their Tea Party targeting skills ahead of next year’s election.
