Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn has a plan “to change the culture of gun violence in our city.” Except he doesn’t mean anything that will actually affect cultural change. Instead, he’s referring to “Washington CeaseFire” – a voluntary program for businesses to forbid carrying gun in their establishments. More than 100 businesses have volunteered … to be boycotted by Second Amendment lovers. Each business gets a “gun free zone” decal to place at their entrance, and anyone caught with a firearm would be considered trespassing. They should clarify the wording, however, to read: Disarmed Victim Zone.
