On Nov. 1, food stamp benefits for many Americans will decrease by about 5%. While it will be tough on those families to adjust their budgets, the reason for the “cuts” is that the Obama “stimulus” package increase has finally run out. In other words, that temporary increase is over, and benefits will return to 2009 levels. Unfortunately, most recipients probably believe this had to do with either the “Republican sequester” or the shutdown. Actually, they can thank their plantation masters – the Democrats – who controlled the entire government when the “cuts” were prepositioned.
