According to The Wall Street Journal, “Insurers say the early buyers of health coverage on the nation’s troubled new websites are older than expected so far, raising early concerns about the economics of the insurance marketplaces.” As much as any website “glitch,” this could bring the whole system down. Even Bill Clinton admitted the game earlier this year, saying, “We’ve got to have [young people] in the pools, because otherwise all these projected low costs cannot be held if older people with preexisting conditions are disproportionately represented in any given state. You’ve got to have everybody lined up.” Without the young, ObamaCare might collapse under its own expensive weight.
