Attorney General Eric Holder said that Obama’s Department of “Justice” may yet charge George Zimmerman with civil rights violations for the self-defense shooting of Trayvon Martin last year. “I’m not sure exactly how much longer that will take,” Holder said, “but we will get to a point where we are able to make a determination.” He did, however, caution that “a substantial part [of Zimmerman’s case] was resolved in the case that was tried.” Perhaps he’ll avoid the inevitable firestorm that would come from such a ludicrous effort, but his track record isn’t great.
