Did someone say “budget cuts”? Sequestration is taking its toll on military preparedness, but that hasn’t stopped the government from wasting money on more “green” military projects. According to The Blaze, “The Defense Department has 680 renewable energy projects in the works encompassing all five branches of the U.S. armed forces” that “include 357 solar, 29 wind and five other undisclosed endeavors regarding ‘electricity generation,’ according to a document provided by the Defense Department. There are 289 thermal energy projects as well.” Per usual, the administration says it’s necessary to protect our military servicemen and women from the effects of “global warming.” Meanwhile, who’s protecting our service members from the dire effects of Obama’s incompetence?
