Barack Obama spent Friday campaigning (shocking, we know) in New Orleans. Obama was joined in flight by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA). However, Landrieu wasn’t present for Obama’s stump speech, claiming a “long-standing engagement in Lake Charles.” Here’s the irony: Landrieu this week presented a bill “that will allow individuals to keep their health insurance if they want even if it doesn’t meet minimum benefits under the Affordable Care Act.” Clearly, Obama is now a liability to any Demo who faces serious challengers in 2014, including Landrieu’s likely challenger, Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA.).
