Obama’s former chief economic advisor, Larry Summers, notes that, as a result of the O'care failure, “a shadow has been cast on the government’s competence.” Uh, our Founders cast that long shadow on government competence when they forged our Constitution’s limits on the powers of our central government. That not withstanding, the order of business regarding the constitutionality of socialist government programs is summed up today in the now-infamous words of Patrick Leahy, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee (where Rule of Law once prevailed): “Nobody questions that!”
