“The New York City Police Department is taking aim at owners of certain shotguns and rifles,” Fox News reports, “telling them all long guns with a five-round or more capacity must be turned in, altered or taken out of town.” Letters were mailed to about 500 people on Nov. 18 telling them they could either modify their guns, surrender them to police, or permanently move the gun out of the city. And you know how many long guns are used by gangs in drive-by shootings. The reality is that the Second Amendment doesn’t say anything about how many rounds your gun carries, only that you can keep and carry your gun.
