The Patriot Post® · Iran Deal in Jeopardy

Two weeks ago, the Obama administration reached an agreement with Iran over the latter nation’s nuclear “energy” program. Naturally, the deal was a bad one and it may get even worse thanks to the president’s own party. House Democrats are murmuring about joining a GOP effort to pass a bill or resolution criticizing the deal or demanding that it be redone, including new or restored sanctions. Such a move could be disastrous for the feckless community organizer in chief, who would face legitimate Iranian charges of failed leadership or negotiating in bad faith. But we’ve seen this movie before: Barack Obama set his “red line” for Syrian chemical weapons use only to have Congress thwart any effort to back up his stupid threat. It’s evidently too much to ask that Obama learn from his failures.
