Keeping the Benghazi debacle under cover wasn’t the only ploy being executed by the Obama administration in the run-up to the 2012 election. According to The Washington Post, the White House intentionally delayed environmental, worker safety and health rules that could potentially sway voters, based on an independent investigation by the Administrative Conference of the United States. In some instances, “officials were instructed to hold off submitting proposals to the White House for up to a year to ensure that they would not be issued before voters went to the polls,” reports the Post. Unsurprisingly, some of the major regulatory delays involved ObamaCare. The information comes from various officials with the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA). No doubt they’ll be audited by the IRS next.
