James Schiliro, the former mayor of Marcus Hook, Delaware, was handed a 10-20 month prison sentence for unlawfully discharging his weapon, among several other convictions, during a drunken tirade at his residence last February. The incident involved 20-year-old male friend (and desired companion) Nicholas Dorsam whom Schiliro became agitated with for trying to leave. Ironically, Schiliro was a member of Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group Mayors Against Illegal Guns and has been forthright in advocating tighter gun restrictions. Like most politicos, Schiliro believes that law abiding citizens should “do as I say, not as I do.” (Source.)
