The Obama administration this week added yet another journalist to its ranks. Roll Call deputy editor Emily Pierce was picked up by Eric Holder’s Justice Department to serve in the office of public affairs. Team Obama has made a habit of soliciting former journalists, all of whom have worked diligently to defend the president’s agenda – and given the Leftmedia’s track record, it’s easy to see why. The extent of Obama’s success in fundamentally transforming the U.S. depends not just on controlling all functions of government, but in duping an ever-growing constituency with propaganda reminiscent of every government gone rogue. What better way to do that than by hiring like-minded “journalists” whose job is to obfuscate the truth.
