When “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart asked Nancy Pelosi why the launch of Healthcare.gov was such a miserable flop, she responded, “I don’t know.” He pushed back, joking, “Let me get the House Minority Leader here, I can ask her. Hold on. What do you mean you don’t know? How do you not know?” So she passed the buck, insisting, “It’s not my responsibility” to know. Given Pelosi’s stature as a member of Congress, where legislative privileges exempt her from most laws’ side effects, no wonder she’s as clueless as they come. Her role, you see, was simply to “pass the bill to find out what’s in it.”
