Update: School officials have reversed their decision.

You know you’ve reached a critical point when you can’t even celebrate America in America. Officials at Fort Collins High School in Colorado rejected a student council’s request to commemorate America’s heritage during Winter Spirit Week. According to one participant, school administrators “said they didn’t want to offend anyone from other countries or immigrants. They just really did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.” Recall Cracker Barrel’s knee-jerk decision to pull “Duck Dynasty” products from their shelves to avoid offending anyone – a move immediately recanted due to the outraged reaction of their customer base. School officials have followed that poor example because the PC Left is all for “inclusiveness” except for when it comes to including America’s traditions and past principles.
