Russia saluted its Communist endeavor today during the Winter Olympics 2014 Opening Ceremony in Sochi. Featuring a giant hammer and sickle, the stadium erupted in celebration as the display took center stage. Obama recently asserted that he was sending Russian president Vladimir Putin a message by sending gay delegates to represent the United States. Evidently, Putin, who lectured Obama regarding American exceptionalism¹, felt comfortable ascertaining his own message given Obama’s always leading from behind.
