Asked about whether France is now the top U.S. ally instead of England, Barack Obama hedged. “I have two daughters – they are both gorgeous, and wonderful, and I would never choose between them. That’s how I feel about my outstanding European partners: All of them are wonderful in their own ways.” We’re sure our allies appreciate being described as Obama’s daughters. Chalk up another one to the foreign policy ineptitude of the community organizer in chief. Exit question: If France is such a great ally, why haven’t we had an ambassador there for the last few months?
