The Patriot Post® · Demos Invest in Keystone Competitors
A new State Dept. report concedes that the Keystone pipeline will have little impact on climate change. But Obama and some lawmakers, such as Sen. Tim Klaine, remain opposed. Kaine claims, “There is now enough evidence to conclude that construction of this pipeline is not in America’s long-term interest.” Coincidentally (or not) Kaine has as much as $50K invested in Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. According to The Washington Free Beacon, “Kinder Morgan is looking to build a pipeline that would directly compete with Keystone.” Rep. Alan Lowenthal, another Keystone opponent, has up to $115K invested in Kinder Morgan and Enbridge Energy Management, another competitor. That’s a deplorable conflict of interest so say the least.
