Rev. Bill Owens, a black pastor and founder and president of the Coalition of African American Pastors, sees things clearly. At a press conference to announce a signature campaign to impeach Attorney General Eric Holder, Owens said the AG “is a man so political in his zeal to redefine marriage that he is willing to run roughshod over the rulings of the Supreme Court … and the United States Constitution along with the constitutions of a majority of states.” Owens then added something about Barack Obama that you don’t hear every day in the black community: “[T]his president has done more to hurt the American people than any president, as I see it, in my lifetime and in history.” Any time now the likes of Al Sharpton will denounce Owens as an “Uncle Tom.”
