It was obvious Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) was up past his bedtime during Monday night’s climate slumber party when he said, “[O]ne of the earliest places I drove was a trip – the only trip I have ever taken was to Hawaii.” When a colleague corrected him, he acknowledged, “I did not drive to Hawaii.” That’s good because while we knew the oceans were rising, we didn’t realize dry land had so recently connected Hawaii to the mainland.
