Barack Obama’s pen strikes again, this time, Fox News reports, “to order the Labor Department to expand overtime pay requirements to include millions more workers.” The change is to the 1938 Fair Labor Standards Act, and would mandate that more salaried workers be paid overtime. If he can regulate the minimum wage, why not salaries too? Such a move will come at a price, however, as businesses will adjust by cutting hours. But until then, people can thank Obama for the “raise.”
