Marcia Radosevich, a planning commission member in Wellington, Florida, raised some eyebrows during a meeting March 5. The council was in the midst of discussing a proposition that Radosevich wasn’t too pleased about. Revealing her discontent, she performed a Nazi salute, adding, “Heil Hitler!” Wellington residents didn’t find it as funny as Radosevich did, and the uproar eventually prompted her to resign. Unsurprisingly, most media outlets left out Radosevich’s party affiliation: She’s a Democrat, and a big financial contributor at that. She dished out nearly $31,000 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2008. You can bet that if Radosevich had a “R” after her name, this incident would be plastered all over the mainstream media.
