Biden’s Teleprompter Blues
“Stop moving that, that, that, that, uh, you know, what’s this thing called?”
Addressing the National Association of Community Health Centers 2014 Policy and Issues Forum, Joe Biden had some issues reading from the very thing Barack Obama can’t do without: a teleprompter. “Stop moving that, that, that, that, uh, you know, what’s this thing called? You know, a teleprompter,” the frustrated VP said. “Barack always kids when he says … ‘I’m learning to speak without a teleprompter; Joe’s learning to speak with one.’” Clearly, there’s some truth to that: Obama would likely suffer anxiety for not having a prepared response to a phone call inquiry, and Biden, the king of gaffes, hardly misses an opportunity to stick his foot in his mouth.
