Ironically, Joe Biden’s request to stay at the very same hotel during his visit last December was rejected because the “price was prohibitive,” according to Federal Business Opportunities. The report added, “In preliminary price comparisons, the costs were tens of thousands of dollars over the St. Regis,” where Biden wound up being accommodated. That trip came to a relatively cheap $384,479.19 – likely far below what taxpayers will be doling out to fund Michelle Obama’s latest excursion.
