As every year, Earth Day is April 22. Since 1970, leftists have been “celebrating” the earth as a means of increasing government control over our daily lives. There are other, stranger aspects, however. This year, the Center for Biological Diversity says, “[W]e want to bring the holiday’s focus back to its origins: runaway human population growth and overconsumption, the root causes of our most pressing environmental crises.” One might think “biological diversity” would require procreation, but not to this group. They’ll be distributing 44,000 “Endangered Species Condoms” to prevent population growth. According to leftists’ distorted view, humans are little better than a plague upon the earth instead of stewards of God’s creation.
