Leftist pollster Celinda Lake has some advice for Democrats up for re-election: “In terms of ObamaCare, don’t defend it,” she says. “Say it was flawed from the beginning, and we’re going to fix it.” Constituents “want to fix it rather than start all over again,” Lake explained. True, ObamaCare was flawed from the get go, but Democrats rammed it through anyway. That’s a decision Democrats will have a hard time defending – if they were too blind to see the side effects of this behemoth law then, what’s to prevent them from making the same mistakes again? Voters would be wise to accept the fact that Democrats are only feigning “concern” about ObamaCare in the face of pivotal midterm elections. There’s at least one person countering Lake’s prescription: Al Sharpton. “[ObamaCare’s] not a catastrophe, it’s a godsend,” he asserted on his program. Quite contrarily, a massive entitlement that attacks religious liberty and mandates Americans to become slaves of the government is hardly a “godsend.”
