The parents of students at Plymouth High School in Canton, Michigan, are seeing the fruits of their labor torn apart – literally. And it’s all being done in the name of “equality.” Money was raised by local parents to erect new bleachers, and the seats were even constructed by the team’s family and friends, saving the school both time and money. That didn’t sit too well with the U.S Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights, though. Why? Because with the new modifications, the seats over on the varsity field were suddenly nicer than the bleachers over on the girl’s softball field and therefore “no longer equal,” according to officials. Unfortunately, school administrators agreed to disassemble the bleachers after being handed a citation from the DOE and are now seeking an equal compromise. It seems the only run-scoring play here is to hit back against the PC police.
