Covered California, the ObamaCare sign-up system in California, directed its hearing-impaired customers to a hotline help number where they were greeted with this recording: “Welcome to America’s hottest talk line. Ladies to talk to an interesting exciting guys free, press one now. Guys, hot ladies are waiting to talk to you.” A spokesperson first denied there was a problem, only later admitting an “isolated” one that appeared under “certain circumstances.” Either way, we never thought we’d have to recommend calling your doctor to see if you can handle signing up for “health insurance.”
