The Patriot Post® · PC Police Suspend Student
The PC police strike again, this time reprimanding a seventh-grader for ostensibly maneuvering a pencil in a threatening manner. Ethan Chalpin of Glen Meadow Middle School in Vernon, New Jersey, allegedly twirled a pencil, prompting one peer to shout, “He’s making gun motions, send him to juvie!” Chalpin was handed a suspension and ordered a five-hour psychiatric evaluation to clear him before being allowed back. According to his father Michael, “The child was stripped, had to give blood samples and urine samples for of all things drug testing. Then four hours later a social worker spoke to him for five minutes and cleared him. Then an actual doctor came in and said the state was 100 percent incorrect in their procedure and this would not get him back in school.” The parents now await a meeting with school officials to determine the next step. If administrators have any ounce of integrity left, any punishment should be quashed and an apology to the real victim should be issued. Once again, “zero tolerance” baffles the mind.
