The Patriot Post® · Volunteering the UN Out
In 2012, the UN sent election monitors to Tennessee and other states that have voter ID laws because leftists complained of possible vote “suppression.” The Volunteer State legislature didn’t take too kindly to the intrusion, however, and passed a bill barring such UN interference unless specifically permitted by the U.S. Senate. The legislation sits on Republican Gov. Bill Haslam’s desk awaiting his signature. Tennessee allows a voter to use a gun permit as their ID – a fact that UN might consider going forward.
