Barack Obama promised that ObamaCare would significantly decrease premium costs. Clearly, that was a BIG lie. The Heritage Foundation has compiled a handy chart depicting ObamaCare’s financial impact on health premiums for individuals coming off their parents’ plan. They find, “Buying individual health insurance in the exchanges is generally more expansive than it was before Obamacare, especially for young adults. In 11 states, 27-year-olds will see premiums double or more.” And it’s not just millennials feeling ObamaCare’s negative effects. Thanks to $716 billion in Medicare cuts, seniors are getting less options. Heritage continues, “instead of cutting waste, fraud, and abuse in the Medicare program, Obamacare targets the amounts Medicare service providers are paid. These cuts have ripple effects on seniors.
