PETA isn’t happy with Michelle Obama’s plan to use 19,000 real eggs in the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. And they resort to even more juvenile appeals than usual to make that clear. A video features several young girls lecturing, “Just because all the other first ladies have done it doesn’t mean you have to. If all the other first ladies jumped off a bridge, would you?” PETA’s solution is to use plastic eggs. But we’d remind them that plastic is made using oil, and according to envirofascists drilling for oil destroys the entire planet, not just a few eggs. So to which drum is a politically correct leftist to hop?
