Because of “the heaviest sea ice conditions on the East Coast in decades and news that ice on the Great Lakes is, for mid-April, the worst it’s been since records began,” evolutionary biologist Dr. Susan Crockford now believes that polar bears may perish because they can’t get through the ice to their favorite food, seals. Remember when it was fashionable to show polar bears “suffering” because of too little ice? We’re sure Al-G'ore will blame the record ice on “global warming.”
