The Patriot Post® · GOP Gives Up on ObamaCare?

“We need to look at reforming the exchanges,” Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) declared. Unfortunately, translated through the Leftmedia filter, the headlines were along the lines of “GOP says ObamaCare here to stay.” While such an outcome may be likelier than not, the only way the GOP won’t be able to mount a serious attempt at repeal is if Democrats win the White House in 2016. But now is no time to throw in the towel, and at a minimum Republicans should be more careful with their phrasing. Acknowledging that, McMorris Rodgers’ office issued a statement insisting that she “will continue to work to repeal it at every opportunity.” Let’s hold her and all Republicans to that.
