UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon weighed in on the horrendous scourge of climate change, saying that we need to “do something” or things could get very bad. “Climate change is the defining issue of our time,” he said. “If we do not take urgent action, all our plans for increased global prosperity and security will be undone.” Who could be against prosperity and security? Well, for starters, people who think massive government intervention with the global thermostat is the only path to be taken. The Left’s “solutions” for climate change are almost always economically devastating.
