In 2011, agents who were supposed to watch the south lawn of the White House were sent to the home of the secretary of then-Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan because the neighbors had a dispute. During “Operation Moonlight,” Secret Service agents watched the neighbor, Brenda Allen, with unmarked vehicles. Allen, who worked for 22 years for the FBI, told The Washington Post it “devastated” her 10-year-old son and changed her family’s dynamic. “We stayed inside. We didn’t barbecue anymore. We didn’t go out back.” With all these new “duties,” a.k.a. abuses of power, you’d think the SS would be too busy to court strippers and get plastered to the point of passing out in hotel hallways.
