“Billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer last year touted green energy policies as a potential windfall for companies that invest in renewable energy technology,” reports the Washington Free Beacon, noting the video of the remarks was newly posted. “It’s a big business opportunity,” Steyer told the gathering. “It’s a chance to make a lot of money.” Steyer is also giving $100 million to Democrats, and some say that’s a big reason the Keystone pipeline never made it out of Congress. Meanwhile, remember when Harry Reid slammed billionaire political donors who “are in it to make money”?
