Reporter Sharyl Attkisson left CBS earlier this year after disagreement with management over what qualified as news. Attkisson was particularly noteworthy for her investigations into Fast & Furious and Benghazi, which evidently put her on the wrong side of the gatekeepers. “There’s a tendency in the news media, on the part of some managers, to censor or block stories that don’t fall in line with the message they want sent to the viewers,” Attkisson told The Daily Signal. “I think that’s really a very dangerous perspective to have.” She’s writing a book titled, “Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth Against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obama’s Washington.” That’s a mouthful, but it should be an entertaining read.
