Now that the Washington Redskins lost their trademark protection, other teams are facing challenges to everything deemed politically incorrect. Members of the PC tribe want to scalp Chief Wahoo, mascot of the Cleveland Indians, from the baseball team’s apparel. (Congressional Democrats haven’t weighed in on the plight of Chief Wahoo, probably because it’s 300 miles too far from their swamp along the Potomac.) Chiricahua Apache Robert Roche said, “[The mascot has] been offensive since day one. We are not mascots. My children are not mascots. We are people.” But yet, NBC reports the American Indian Center has a good relationship with its local pro hockey team, the Chicago Blackhawks. Native American vets attend games as guests of honor, for example.
