Another just-released study confirms what common sense already tells us: Guns don’t kill people. In fact, more firearms in the hands of law abiding citizens mitigate criminal activity. Fox News reports, “The study by the Crime Prevention Research Center found that 11.1 million Americans now have permits to carry concealed weapons, up from 4.5 million in 2007. The 146 percent increase has come even as both murder and violent crime rates have dropped by 22 percent.” That’s a far different story than the one portrayed by the mainstream media, who want you to believe crime is at an all-time high.
